Political Parties


Much like the U.S., there are many political parties in Canada. However, there are few

of importance. The four main parties are the Liberal Party, Conservitive Party of Canada,

Bloc Quebecois, and the New Democratic Party. The Liberal Party in Canada is made up

older Democrats. The Conservitives are very similar to the Republicans here. The Bloc

Quebecois are a group of conservitives that are centered around French Quebec. The New

Democratic Party is like the newly established Tea Party in America. However, the New

Democratic Party does not consist of conservitives, but democrats.
